Ripple starts testing XRPL sidechain compatible with Ethereum
Peersyt Technology has launched a sidechain that integrates the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) into Ripple’s XRP Ledger (XRPL). The sidechain is available on his XRPL Devnet, allowing developers to start testing it before it goes live.
📢 We are excited to announce our first launch #XRPL #side chain Compatible with #EVM!🔗

according to publicationhas created a bridge between the EVM-compatible chain and the XRPL Devnet, so developers don’t have to choose between networks. This development means that developers can easily access the speed and cheap transaction capabilities of XRPL while introducing smart his contract functionality into her XRPL.
It also means that developers can create smart contracts and access DeFi protocols while using XRP as the native token. The sidechain runs 1000 transactions per second (TPS) and is compatible with Ethereum (ETH) applications such as Metamask, Remix, and Truffle.
On the other hand, this is only the first stage of the project. The second phase will begin in early 2023, when the EVM sidechain will be permissionless and more tests will be performed in a controlled environment. In the third phase of the project, the sidechain will be deployed on his XRPL mainnet.
The developers have not said when the third phase will begin.
