RTX 4070 Ti Beats RX 7900 XT In New OpenCL Benchmarks

Colorful has inadvertently confirmed that the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is a rebranded GeForce RTX 4080 12GB. A New Wave Of GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Benchmarks (via) bench leak (opens in new tab)) is coming to Geekbench 5, giving us a little taste of what the upcoming Ada Lovelace graphics cards can do in terms of OpenCL performance.

Without any changes, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti would use a full AD104 die with 7,680 CUDA cores, complemented by 12 GB of 21 Gbps GDDR6X memory across a 192-bit memory bus. It’s not going to be the fastest graphics card in this configuration, but it’s sure to make the list of the best graphics cards if tested well. The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti has a rumored base clock of 2,130 MHz and a boost clock of 2,610 MHz. However, the sample from the Geekbench 5 submission is boosted to 2,730 MHz, so it could be a custom model with a lot of factory overclocking, or it may have been manually overclocked by the user.
