RX 7600 Reference Design Seemingly Flaunts Compact Form Factor

Given the rumored specs, it’s unclear if AMD’s Radeon RX 7600 can compete with the best graphics cards. But at least the upcoming graphics card will come in a compact form factor, according to new renders provided. video card.
Apparently, AMD has shown a lot of interest in the Radeon RX 7600 and is reportedly working on a reference design for a Navi 33 based graphics card. It’s unclear if the chipmaker’s partners are on board with his MBA (made by AMD) design. But one thing is certain, the Radeon RX 7600 MBA could be one of AMD’s most compact reference graphics cards in the oven.
The Radeon RX 7600 MBA comes in a standard dual-slot design with two cooling fans. The graphics card has a rustic look with no RGB lighting and a black shroud. The Radeon RX 7600 MBA is as short as it looks and comes with a matching backplate. As a result, the only color on the graphics card is his four small triangle shapes on the backplate.
The dimensions of the graphics card remain a mystery, but VideoCardz says it will be less than 21cm. Not mini-ITX caliber, but very close. A typical mini-ITX graphics card is about 17cm long. Nonetheless, the Radeon RX 7600 MBA fits easily and nicely into Small Form Factor (SFF) systems.
The Radeon RX 7600 comes with a standard PCIe 4.0 x16 connector and is electrically limited to x8 operation. It’s common for graphics cards in this category to maintain such connections. For example, the former Radeon RX 6600 and even his Nvidia recently announced GeForce RTX 4060 and GeForce RTX 4060 Ti utilize the same interface.
The Radeon RX 7600 will utilize AMD’s Navi 33 silicon. This is rumored to use a different process node than the Navi 31 dies that power the Radeon RX 7900 XTX and Radeon RX 7900 XT. TSMC is manufacturing his Navi 31 for AMD on his 5nm process node at the foundry. On the contrary, Navi 33 is reportedly from his 6nm process node.
The Radeon RX 7600 could feature 2,048 stream processors (SPs) with 8GB of GDDR6 memory and a 128-bit memory interface. Just looking at the specs alone, you can see that the Radeon RX 7600 is far from a gaming monster. However, the graphics card is good enough for 1080p games. It will be interesting to see how fast the Radeon RX 7600 is compared to the Radeon RX 6650 XT.
The leaked render shows a Radeon RX 7600 with a single 8-pin power connector, so it’s not a power-hungry graphics card. As for video outputs, the Radeon RX 7600 appears to offer three DisplayPort 2.1 outputs and one HDMI 2.1 port.
Despite all the leaks and rumors, the Radeon RX 7600 MSRP is still a mystery. Nvidia launched his GeForce RTX 4060 at $299, so unless the Radeon RX 7600 blows the competition out, AMD will have to match pricing or lower the price. The Radeon RX 7600 Is Rumored To Hit Market On May 25th, Just A Day Later Than Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, So How The Navi 33-Powered Graphics Cards Compare To The Competitors It won’t be long before we find out.
