When I reviewed the Samsung 990 Pro in October, I was blown away by its gaming performance. In his SSD performance test in 3DMark, the 990 Pro outperformed its next major competitor, the WD Black SN850X, by more than 200 points, and with Samsung’s drive in full power mode, that figure rose by more than 100 points.
According to official specs, the Samsung 990 Pro supports up to 7,450 MBps read and 6,900 MBps write with 1.4 million and 1.55 million read and write IOPS respectively. The 2 TB capacity promises a powerful 1200 TBW endurance, so you can use it for a long time.
