Sapphire Teases Next-Gen Radeon RX 7900 GPU Family

Sapphire has shared what looks like the first Radeon RX 7900 XTX / 7900 XT teaser on social media. An AMD exclusive partner posted a short video clip on Twitter featuring a silver and black graphics card with an attractive pink LED. In related news, a discussion on China’s Bobanang forum indicates that only AMD reference design cards will be available at launch (December 13th). , will have to wait another week or two for custom models like the teased sapphire card to come to fruition.

You can see the full Sapphire video teaser embedded above. However, much has not been revealed. All I see is a triple fan graphics card running on the pink LED edge. Like most triple fan designs, this one uses a different rotational layout, with only the central fan spinning clockwise. The design looks very classy from what we can see. This impression makes the upcoming Sapphire graphics card look like the MSI Suprim model.
AMD reference model first?
at a Chinese tech forum Bobangtan, there are some interesting rumors regarding the upcoming AMD RDNA 3 flagship pair launch schedule. AMD has already officially established that the Radeon RX 7900 XTX and 7900 XT will be available on his December 13th. However, rumors on Chinese tech forums say that customer options will be limited to AMD reference designs. According to tech forum rumors, this restriction will be lifted a week or two after the initial launch of his December 13th.
Another detail from Bobangtan’s post is perhaps more worrying, suggesting that custom designs from AMD partners will cost more than the reference model. According to the leaks we’ve seen, AMD’s reference design looks like the upcoming RDNA 3 graphics card. The partner’s design, on the other hand, is sometimes as bulky as his latest GeForce RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 graphics cards.
