I had the chance to review the Acer Predator Helios 300 (opens in new tab) (PH315-55) to test the gaming laptop’s performance in a series of benchmark tests. The QHD display is particularly impressive, with an excellent color gamut covering 112.1% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 158% of the sRGB color gamut. This is in addition to the laptop’s excellent build quality.
There were a few negatives, though, and these mostly had to do with the quality of the 1080p webcam and the overall volume levels the speakers were able to achieve. It has become an option to consider when compared to similar products from other manufacturers.
