Looking at the current state of gaming today, new horror franchises are emerging, expanding the genre in frightening new ways. Meanwhile, classic franchises like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Dead Space continue to build terrifying legacies with new entries of their own.
As other forms of entertainment’s horror evolved beyond traditional zombies and ghouls, the genre of games expanded with its own grotesque and haunting creatures.
