Sonic Faces Dr. Eggman’s Death Egg Robot in New LEGO Set

Sega unveiled the Sonic vs. Dr. Eggman Death Egg Robot Lego set today on Sonic Central’s livestream.
As part of the Sega and Lego collaboration, the new 615-piece set features Eggman’s iconic mech from Sonic 2. It comes with a removable capsule containing a mad scientist animal (called Flicky in Sonic lore). captor and his badnik. With his mech suit all powered up, Eggman is able to confront Sonic, who saves all the animals by ramming him with his speed sphere.
Dr. Eggman’s Death Egg Robot is the fifth set in the LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog series. His first four previously released sets include Tails and his Tornado, Amy and her ice cream stand.
“With just over 30 days left until LEGO Sonic hits stores, we are thrilled to unveil Dr. Eggman’s Death Egg robot as the fifth entry in our incredible series of building experiences,” said designer Frederick. Roland André says The Lego Group’s Sonic Central is the perfect setting to introduce Lego and Sonic fans to this amazing new set of villains, and Sonic his fans of all ages will get their blue blur in the form of Lego bricks this summer. I can’t wait to get my hands on it.”
A LEGO-themed expansion pack is also coming to Sonic Superstars and comes with a free LEGO Sonic and Dr. Eggman skin. However, those who pre-ordered the game will receive an exclusive Eggman skin.
The LEGO Sonic vs. Dr. Eggman Death Egg Robot set will be available on August 1st. Sonic Superstar will launch in his Fall 2023.
