What is Sonic Frontier?
Sonic Frontiers is a new, more open take on the never-before-seen 3D Sonic game. Explore five large open islands containing platforming challenges, puzzles, and more. They also act as overworlds, allowing you to enter more contained and linear 3D and 2D levels like traditional Sonic games. Designers call this an “open zone” rather than an open world.
On top of that, Sonic has a skill tree this time around that allows him to dodge, parry, and counter enemy attacks. There is also a new “Cyloop” ability. Check out his preview of Sonic Frontiers hands-on for more.
