Sonic Frontiers Sights, Sounds, and Speed Update Adds Challenge Modes and More This Week

Sega has announced that the Sights, Sounds, and Speed update is coming to Sonic Frontiers on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch on March 22nd.

The first of three content updates for the game adds a new challenge mode, photo mode, and a jukebox for players to listen to their favorite Sonic tracks.

New Challenge Modes include Cyberspace Challenge and Battle Rush, accessible after completing the main story. The former is a time trial mode in which players race multiple cyberspace stages in succession, while the latter is a time battle mode in which players battle multiple enemies and bosses in succession.

A photo mode has also been added to the game, allowing players to capture and edit screenshots of Sonic Adventure. Also on the jukebox you can listen to 53 of his songs released from his memory collection of new sounds spread across the island.

Sonic Frontier was released last November and has sold 2.5 million copies as of December 13th. Sega announced his roadmap for 2023 content around the same time, confirming that Update 2 will celebrate Sonic’s birthday by adding Open Zone Challenges and a new Coco. The final update in 2023 will add even more new characters and story content.
