Spider-Man 2 Co-Op Seemingly Teased by Voice Actor, Insomniac Says It’s Not Happening

Miles Morales voice actor Nagy Jeter shared some new information about Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2, as well as an apparent tease of co-op that developer Insomniac Games has already shut down.

with a panel from SacAnime Summer 2022 (I recently found out that it is Reseller Thread), Jeter answers some questions about Miles Morales’ role in the upcoming game.

During the Q&A portion of the panel, Jeter was asked if Spider-Man 2 will have co-op play where two players team up as Miles and Peter Parker. “I don’t know if it was announced, but I think so,” Jeter replied.

Developer Insomniac Games confirmed: twitter Since Spider-Man 2 is an “epic single-player adventure,” Jeter may have simply referred to multiple playable characters rather than co-op. For example, characters may switch between Miles and Peter during the campaign.

A fan also asked Jeter if Miles would be infected with the Venom symbiote in Spider-Man 2, to which Jeter simply replied, “They’re everywhere.” [Symbiotes] It will be everywhere. “

Later in the panel discussion, Jeter talked about how Miles’ skill set will grow in Spider-Man 2 after learning to grapple with his newfound responsibilities in Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

“He’s getting smarter with his nest in this next installment. Yes, he’s getting really smart. So stick around for Part 2…he’s got the hang of it now.” ”

Sony has its PlayStation showcase this week on May 24th, so it won’t be long before we see more Spider-Man 2 coming from the PlayStation itself. Given that the event he focused on games coming to PS5, and Spider-Man 2, which is set to last over an hour, is due out this year, it seems like a key to the showcase.

Spider-Man 2 was first announced in September 2021. The game introduces Venom into the Insomniac’s Spider-Verse, and the first trailer showed Miles and Peter working together to take down criminals.
