What happens at the end of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor?

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor does a fun little thing that doesn’t end every time you think the game is over. Instead, his final third of the game is full of twists and turns that leave the ship spinning. So let’s dive right in.

Early on, Jedi: Survivor sets up Dagan Guerra, a High Republic-era Rogue Jedi who has been preserved for centuries in Bacta, as the game’s primary villain. His desire for revenge against the Jedi who betrayed him, and the secret planet of Tanaror, almost always lead to the game’s main conflict.

Aided by Santali Kuri’s Force Mirage, Kal has a compass that will help defeat Duggan and lead him and his team to Thanalor, which he plans to use as a secret base away from Imperial sight. take it back. However, here comes the big twist of the game.

Bode’s betrayal

Throughout the game, Cal is aided by his friends, including new ally Bode Akuna. Bode is the first Gunslinger mercenary in the game, but since the events of Fallen Order, he and Cal have proven themselves on various missions for the Resistance.

Well, it turns out that Bode is not only working for the Empire as an ISB spy, but he’s also a former Jedi who survived the Jedi purge brought on by Order 66. He was in love and together they had a daughter named Kata. The Empire found Bode and murdered his wife, but he made a deal with the leader of the Imperial Intelligence to work as their operative in exchange for protecting his daughter from the Inquisitors. I played the part until I found out about Thanalor during my adventures. Kal wanted to use the hidden planet of Tanaror as a secret base for the Resistance, while Bode saw it as a sanctuary where he could escape the Empire and live in peace with his daughter.

In a shocking twist, Bode kills Eno Cordova and reveals his true nature by stealing the compass to Tanaror. To make matters worse, he calls on the Empire to attack Sele Junda’s hidden base on Jedha, and Sele sacrifices herself to hold off Darth Vader while everyone else escapes. Cal tries to go after Bode, but is defeated when Bode reveals himself to be a Force user with a red lightsaber.

Dark Side Cal’s Brush

Cal, shaken by Bode’s betrayal, tracks him to ISB headquarters in Nova Garon, where he meets a young Kata. However, it was a trap set by Bode to deliberately lure Cal to his side and destroy ISB.

Cal confronts ISB chief supervisor Denbik, who recruits Bode as a spy and is effectively responsible for this whole mess. Cal nearly choked him to death before Merrin calmed him down, saying that the Empire had taken enough and she didn’t want to lose him either.

As Kal pursues Bourde, he finds himself surrounded by a dozen armies and, driven by a thirst for revenge, embraces the Darkseid to tear them apart. Bode manages to escape with Kara and uses the stolen compass to escape to Thanalor. With Zee’s help, Cal, Merrin, and Greez finally find their way to his Tanalorr.

Final Showdown with Bode

Cal and Merrin, who have both lost their families, plan to offer Bode a chance to surrender in order to save Kata from losing her father, but when they confront him, he sees why. When Bode gains the upper hand and begins hitting Cal, Cal channels Darkseid again and uses it to defeat him. With his lightsaber at his throat, Bourde was given another chance to give up, but instead used it to attack again, Force knocking Kata back with his push and Force choking Merrin. Bode and Cal have a confrontation, so Bode goes to shoot, but his blaster malfunctions and Cal has to shoot Bode twice in his chest.

What will happen to Cal, Merrin, Gries, and Kata in the end?

With Duggan and Bode defeated, the Mantis crew secure Tanaror, planning to use it as a secret base for the Resistance against the Empire. Cal says he will use it as a Hidden Path sanctuary, which Cere wanted. (You may remember Disney+’s Obi-Wan Kenobi show, Hidden Paths in a secret underground network that helps Jedi survivors escape the Empire.) They held the funerals of Cere, Cordova, and Bode. Kata has been robbed of her family because of her actions.

Cele also appears to Cal in a vision that “leads her through the darkness.” This probably means Kata, who has just lost her father. Note, however, that Cere does not appear as her ghost in the Blue Force, but in a more immediate form, a secret Jedi technique.

Cal and Merrin’s romantic relationship blossoms over the course of the game, and eventually Cal says he wants to be with Merrin now that the Jedi Order is gone. It’s very different from the usual story Star Wars tells, but as Cal said, the Jedi and their rules no longer exist, so he’s free to follow his heart.

By the end of the game, Cal and Merrin are essentially Kata’s foster parents, and Gries is a grumpy uncle who cooks his signature skaz steak for family dinners. is less talked about, but it seems more likely that Cal will train her in the ways of the Jedi. This is the same as young Leia showed in Obi-Wan’s Kenobi show, suggesting she’s as sensitive to her powers as her father. If the third game in the Star Wars Jedi series ever materializes, it wouldn’t be a surprise that Kata is Cal’s Padawan.

Another potential Star Wars Jedi 3 possibility is for Cal to eventually use the power of the Dark Side Force. The third entry could be when he finally used his aggressive emotions and channeled his hatred into him. There is. So far in the series, Cal has had very little Force power. As such, this gives him some exciting gameplay options. Chief among them is Force Lightning.
