Studio Working on Secret PlayStation Game Hit by Layoffs as Sony Reevaluates Portfolio

Deviation Games laid off a number of developers as Sony reassessed its portfolio. The studio is currently working on developing a new original AAA IP in collaboration with PlayStation.

Not much is currently known about Deviation’s new IP, but it’s likely that it will be released on PlayStation 5. Deviation’s games could also be multiplayer, as Sony is also investing in more multiplayer titles, working with developers like Haven Studios and Firewalk Studios. .
