Surprise Nintendo Direct Reveals Mario Movie Voices Coming to ‘All Of Your Favorite Mario Games’

The Super Mario movie is due out next week, and Nintendo is celebrating by bringing Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jack Black, and the rest of the voice cast from the big screen to the small screen.

Shigeru Miyamoto appeared in a special Nintendo Direct on April 1, announcing that his “Favorite Mario Games” will be adding a special “Movie Mode” featuring voice actors from the cast of the Super Mario Bros. movies. . Supported games include Luigi’s Mansion 3, Mario Kart 8 and even the original Super Mario Bros. for his NES.

Enabling the new “Movie Mode” will replace existing voices with movie cast members, or add voices if none exist. After Mario completes a level in the original Super Mario Bros.? Now you can!

“It’s a whole new way to enjoy the Mario games you know and love,” said Miyamoto.

‘Dreams come true’

In a statement released to the media, Pratt expressed excitement about having his voice appear in the original Super Mario Bros.

“After spending hours stomping on Bowser, this was a dream come true,” Pratt said.

Pratt’s appearance alongside a star-studded cast of Seth Rogen and Jack Black shocked the gaming industry. Since then, expectations have continued to rise, and some analysts believe it could be the highest-grossing film of 2023.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie will be released on April 5. As for the Mario DLC featuring their voices, a release date has yet to be revealed.
