TeamGroup Launches 48GB DDR5-8000, 96GB DDR5-6800 Kits
TeamGroup has launched new 48GB and 96GB memory kits to compete with the best RAM on the market. Additionally, the vendor has pushed the speed limits of the former and latter products to DDR5-8000 and DDR5-6800 respectively.
This brand new memory kit with non-binary DIMMs is specifically geared for Intel’s 700 and 600 series platforms. The memory kits are designed for 12th Gen Alder Lake and 13th Gen Raptor Lake processors, two of the best CPU portfolios on the retail market. Memory kits come with the latest XMP 3.0 standard. It should work fine with AMD’s latest Ryzen 7000 processors and corresponding AM5 platforms. However, if you’re looking for the best compatibility, you should probably wait for the AMD EXPO certified version. should not take long to hit the market.
TeamGroup has pushed its enthusiastic Delta RGB DDR5 lineup with capacities up to 48GB (2x24GB). However, memory kits can only be used in dual channel configurations. Available data rates range from DDR5-6000 to DDR5-8000. The vendor has not updated his website for the product at the time of writing.according to press release (opens in new tab)the DDR5-7200 memory kit has 34-42-42-84 timings and the DDR5-8000 variant has 38-48-48-84 timings.
TeamGroup’s state-of-the-art DDR5-8000 48GB memory kit falls short of G.Skill’s recently announced DDR5-8200 48GB memory kit. However, G.Skill’s Trident Z5 memory has sloppy timings (40-52-52) when compared to Delta RGB.

---|---|---|
T-Force Delta RGB DDR5 | DDR5-6000, DDR5-6400, DDR5-6800, DDR5-7200, DDR5-7600, DDR5-8000 | 2 x 24GB |

Meanwhile, the T-Create Expert DDR5 lineup offers consumers an alternative with 96GB capacity. After all, Memory Kit is aimed at content creators and professional users. Additionally, the 96GB memory kit is available in dual channel (2x48GB) and quad channel (4x24GB) flavors. The latter is a good option for owners of Intel’s latest Sapphire Rapids Xeon chips or AMD’s looming Ryzen Threadripper 7000 army.
The 2x48GB memory kit comes with DDR5-6000, DDR5-6400 and DDR5-6800 options. The T-Create Expert DDR5-6800 96GB memory kit supports 36-46-46-96 timings. Instead, the 4 DIMM 96GB model only has DDR5-6000 and DDR5-6400 options. Unfortunately, TeamGroup did not demo the memory kit in their press release, so the specs are unknown. Non-binary DIMMs have been around for a while, but Corsair is currently the only brand that sells a 192 GB (4×48 GB) memory kit, which retails for an incredible $724.99.
TeamGroup does not share prices for the new 48GB and 96GB memory kits. However, the vendor has set a May 2023 launch date for him, so his MSRP for the memory kit may not yet be established.
