Tetris Effect Developer’s Bizarre Person-Herding Game Humanity Is Out in May
The next game from the team behind Tetris Effect called Humanity is finally coming next month. The strange people leading puzzle game will release on May 16, 2023 on his PS4, PS5 and Steam.
📢 HUMANITY launches on PS5/PS4/Steam on May 16th and on the PS+ games catalog on day one! 🚨
I was so happy to hear about Humanity compared to the wonderfully unique Japanese action & puzzle games that have been released on PS1/PS2, and the announcement video had to pay tribute to that era. pic.twitter.com/CSZO8PWYlo

Humanity is, well, a little weird, but in a charming way.In 2019, it was first announced as a puzzle game in which a Shiba Inu guides a large crowd through a puzzle environment. Man is seemingly “on the road to salvation” and must overcome various obstacles to get there. Humanity includes a story mode and stages like Super Mario His Maker and Little Big Planet where players can share their creations with friends.
Whatever it may sound like, the trailer reveals some of humanity’s conflict with mob mentality, blind obedience to their leaders, and those the group deems “other.” This is due to Enhance, developer of Rez Infinite and Tetris Effect, the latter of which can be quite profound (especially in VR). There is a possibility. So take that as a clue as to what humanity will be like as well.
Humanity comes with a VR mode for PSVR headsets as well as PC.
