The Office’s Dunder Mifflin Scranton Office Seems to Be in The Last of Us Part 1

Naughty Dog appears to include a big reference to the hit sitcom The Office in its remake of The Last of Us Part 1.

Videos of TikTok users shared on Naughty Dog Central’s Twitter fan account (below) Lexeley shows the layout of the office in the game, very similar to the Dunder Mifflin Scranton office in the show. It seems that it was newly added in the remake.

In the Pittsburgh section of the game, players enter an office building that looks like a sitcom location through a broken window. As Joel moves to the front of the room, he sees Pam’s desk, Michael’s office, and Dunder his Mifflin front door.

Jim and Dwight’s desk block isn’t exactly pristine with only one left from the show instead of three. This appears to be intentional, as several desks and other office supplies are piled up to block the entrance.

Many others are in place, such as conference rooms. Some have questioned that other parts, such as the accounting area, aren’t where they expected them to be, but the placement of the office’s entrance feels more like a coincidence to us.

The Last of Us Part 1 was released earlier this month and is a ground-up PS5 remake of the original PlayStation 3 game. In a 9/10 review, IGN said: .”
