Tiny Raspberry Pi CNC Drawing Machine
Recycled parts from old floppy drives and old CD drives, this manufacturer has created a small Pi-powered CNC drafting machine. Super small to create perfect images every time. The Pi works with the Arduino to move the pen holder and create a custom he image on demand.
Raspberry Pi typewriter works as a Linux terminal
I used an old Brother AX-25 typewriter to create a Linux terminal running Riley, the makers of Artillect. It has a Pi that processes user input and outputs terminal responses to a typewriter in real time.

Maker Dave Luna put a Pi inside an old Macintosh Classic II. The screen is his e-Ink display from Waveshare and the external peripherals are all his original 1991 Apple hardware. Luna is using Chromecast to stream images from his Google Photos and using a custom Python script to transform the images into similar images. Vintage System 7 operating system. Raspberry Pi Tricorder detects Starlink satellites
In this project we will save the parts as the sky in his head and the Pi in his hands. He upgraded his Tricorder so that it could detect his Starlink satellites using his LNB module from an old satellite dish. Did I mention this gadget is completely portable?

AuraLock is designed to automatically unlock your door by scanning a pre-approved face. If you don’t mind using facial recognition to control your door lock, this project might be for you. It’s powered by a Raspberry Pi and comes with a smartphone app to help you manage it.
