This Low Profile Twin-Fan CPU Cooler Claims It Can Cool Up to 265 Watts
According to a report from IT home, Cooler manufacturer Ninesharks has developed a very unique CPU cooler called the JF13K Diamond. This has the look of his low-profile CPU cooler while claiming cooling power on par with a 240mm AIO liquid cooler.
The cooler features a unique shape that joins two thin CPU coolers. This is a radical change from the dual-fan tower-style coolers we are used to seeing. However, the low-profile form factor gives the cooler more surface area and potentially better cooling performance. to be cooled.
The radiator itself has seven heat pipes and is equipped with two ultra-thin 15mm fans measuring 241 x 121 x 92mm. This corresponds to the AIO’s slightly thinner 240 mm radiator. The CPU mounting mechanism is located directly in the center of the radiator and two fans are located on either side of the motherboard.
Height compatibility is somewhat limited, with a maximum supported height of 59mm on the memory side of the motherboard and a maximum height of 50mm on the opposite side with rear I/O. Worst case scenario, both the DRAM and the rear I/O cover may be too tall to fit in the JK13K’s long radiator.
According to IT Home, the JF13K Diamond cools the Core i9-11900K at 85 degrees Celsius and the chip’s power consumption was tested at 217W. I don’t know what CPU benchmarks were run, but the cooling results are very similar to the y-cruncher results found in the 11900K review where the chip was running at around 75-85°C on a 280mm Corsair H115i liquid cooler. very similar to
JF13K Diamond is currently priced at RMB 269, or about $39, in the Asian market, but is not available in the US at this time. Hopefully, the JK13K’s unique cooling properties will gain enough popularity to warrant a US release in the future.
