Trackmania Is Headed to Consoles, With Cross-Platform Play and Cross-Progression

Ubisoft’s Trackmania is finally on its way to consoles in early 2023 and will include cross-play and cross-progression with existing PC renditions.

Announced at Ubisoft Forward 2022, Trackmania is coming to Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna early next year. It’s the first day of Ubisoft+.

I’ve been playing Trackmania on PC for years and it’s still the same, and the cars are pristine. It’s free to play with no microtransactions, but there are macrotransactions in that there are two major premium purchases that gate a ton of games.

Reviewing Trackmania on PC in 2020, he said, “The mechanically subtle time trials are just as tense and addictive in 2020 as they were in 2006,” but the pay-gated, robust Said content selection can hurt the life of a free game. Since its release, it has been updated regularly, including a matchmaking gameplay mode and a “royal” mode.
