Ubisoft Might Extend XDefiant Closed Beta If Servers Stabilize
According to Ubisoft San Francisco’s executive producer, Ubisoft may extend XDefiant’s closed beta once the game’s servers stabilize.
XDefiant’s closed beta started on April 13th, but we were plagued with the following issues for several days: Progress not saved and player shot in cornerAdditionally, the PlayStation and Xbox versions had some delayed patches.
Luckily, Executive Producer Mark Rubin said on Twitter:
Ah, I think once everything goes well and the servers are finally somewhat stable, we should consider extending the beta, but we’ll have to see what that means for the team.

The closed beta is scheduled to continue until April 23, but it seems likely that it may be extended due to server downs and malfunctions. However, neither Ubisoft nor Rubin have made an official announcement.
XDefiant was first announced as Tom Clancy’s XDefiant in 2021, but Tom Clancy’s branding was discontinued in March 2022.
