Wargroove 2 Announced for Nintendo Switch and PC

Chucklefish and Robotality have announced Wargroove 2, the sequel to the Advance Wars-inspired strategy game for PC and Nintendo Switch. There is no official release date for the game yet.

As reported by Nintendo LifeWargroove 2 takes place in a seaside region named Aurania and has three campaign arcs with a storytelling approach similar to Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

New features include Conquest, a roguelike single-player mode, new commanders and unit types to control, improved maps, campaign, cutscene editor, and more.

Commanders have a unique skill called Groove that allows players to enhance their Groove abilities to unleash even more powerful attacks, thus changing the pace of battle.

Players can also participate in up to four player co-op or competitive battles locally or online, including rule customization and asynchronous play.

Wargroove was first released in 2019 for PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. In his Wargroove review for IGN, he said: It faithfully recreates the tactics I loved in that series while putting a lot of its own spin on the concept.
