If you missed the days of open-world arcade racing, get ready for Wreckreation, the veteran new racer behind games like Need for Speed and Burnout.
As announced at today’s THQ Nordic showcase, Wreckreation is a new arcade racing game set in a 400-square-kilometer (~155-square-mile) world where you can design crazy race tracks for yourself and your friends to drive.
Fans of racing, drifting, and crashing will find plenty to do in MixWorld, but the real draw lies in creating giant race tracks filled with loops, spirals, traps, and more. Design track yourself online or with a friend before trying each other’s courses.
In addition to the vast world, players can customize their cars with their own paints, wheels, decals, and more. With 16 channels of radio stations and Spotify integration, you can listen to your favorite songs while causing mayhem.
Wreckreation was announced with the return of the Alone in the Dark survival horror series. Find out more about what was announced at today’s showcase here.
