This is great news for anyone in the market looking for a professional quality controller for Xbox or PC. Microsoft’s Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Core is on sale for the lowest price ever. It’s usually $129.99, but you can get it for $115.99 at select retailers (see on Amazon). This is a 12% discount. Better than nothing.

From a feature standpoint, the Core controller looks like a standard Elite Series 2 controller (currently On sale at MS store for $169.99). The only difference, other than color, is that it comes with fewer parts and accessories. A standard Elite Series 2 controller comes with a carrying case, charging dock, four rear paddle buttons, alternate D-pads and thumbsticks. The Core version does not contain these items.
It still has pro-level build quality, and you can replace those parts if purchased separately.Like the standard Elite, it has rubber grips for improved handling. You can switch the short hair trigger lock to get shots faster with the shooter. You can also adjust the thumbstick tension using the tool that came with your controller.
