AMD Radeon RX 7600 Specs Seemingly Leaked
Famous leaker momomo_us said on Twitter: share a screenshot It could very well be the product specs of the upcoming RX 7600, where AMD will venture into the mid-range GPU price segment. As seen on TechPowerUp!, the typeface and overall design of the screenshots match what you’d expect from marketing materials coming directly from AMD. But for now, take this news with a reasonable discount.
According to the leak, the RX 7600 will feature 32 RDNA3 compute units for a total of 2,048 stream processors. This is the same as his RX 6600 XT from the previous generation, but more than the replacement card for the RX 6600 that shipped with it. There are 1,792 SPs. AMD’s bet on performance gains in this segment appears to be based on RDNA3’s architectural improvements. Along with increasing computing resources. AMD could have opted to increase the chip’s Infinity Cache compared to the previous generation RX 6600 series, but the company seems to have chosen to stick with the 32 MB cache pool. No guarantees, but keeping a 32 MB Infinity Cache could mean AMD keeping his 128-bit bus as well.
Gigabyte recently listed a number of RX 7600 cards with the Eurasian Economic Commission (ECC). This step usually takes place within a few weeks of the release. The card has already been listed in Singapore for around $410 (expected to be in stock May 26), but this is expected to be an alternative price with the usual price increases for unreleased products. The RX 7600 is expected to offer around 25% better performance than AMD’s RX 6600. Today’s market is not the same as it was in the past, and weak consumer spending has forced AMD to make its cards more attractive at price points.
