“AMD executives will provide details on the new high-performance and energy-efficient AMD RDNA 3 architecture that will deliver new levels of performance, efficiency and features for gamers and content creators,” reads an AMD statement.
Based on the RDNA 3 architecture, AMD’s Radeon RX 7000 series graphics processors will be the company’s first GPUs to be manufactured using TSMC’s N5 (5nm class) manufacturing technology and feature chiplet design. AMD demoed his Navi 3x graphics processor (believed to be the Navi 31) back in August, but didn’t reveal any details.
We fully expect AMD’s Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards based on RDNA 3 technology to join the ranks of the best graphics cards for gaming, but the big question is when will this happen? We have learned from an unofficial source that AMD is expected to announce two of his RDNA 3 powered graphics boards this year with sales starting in late December. There is currently no clear timeline as to when the company plans to roll out its mid-range RDNA 3 GPUs.
In fact, AMD’s high-end Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards may already be on the market. Earlier this week, the Korean National Radio Research Agency (RRA), which tracks all electronic devices entering South Korea, registered a mysterious Radeon graphics card model. D70401All existing AMD Radeon RX 6000 and Radeon Pro W6000 series graphics cards use reference PCB models starting with D41, D51, or D63. Therefore, models starting with D70 could belong to AMD’s next-generation graphics boards.
