With its breakthrough 3D Stacked SRAM technology, the 5800X3D delivers a massive 96MB L3 cache. With this 3D V-Cache, the 5800X3D delivers incredible gaming performance. The chip still used 8 cores and 16 threads and was based on the same 7nm process and Zen 3 architecture as the rest of the 5000 series, but this chip was the peak of gaming on AMD’s outgoing AM4 platform.
