Arduino Success Stories
We ask Banzi about the meteoric rise of Arduino projects, from early boards to the latest R4 Uno series. As we progress through the story, we will also cover the Arduino board.
The Arduino Uno R4 Minima is the fourth version of the famous Arduino Uno form factor, replacing the venerable Atmel ATMEGA328P with a powerful Renesas RA4M1, Arm Cortex-M4 running at 48 MHz. In this world of ever-connected devices and the Internet of Things, the new Arduino Uno R4 WiFi features the same Arm-Cortex M4 as the Minima, but uses an ESP32-S3 processor to handle Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. A processor has been added. The R4 WiFi also features Qwiic / StemmaQT connectors for use with compatible sensors/components.
We have prepared a full review of both boards for you to read before the show.
