ARK Invest’s crypto strategies to offer top 20 crypto assets to wealth managers
ARK Invest, led by Cathy Wood, Eaglebrook Advisors Offers ARK cryptocurrencies and ARK cryptoassets strategies available as Individually Managed Accounts (SMAs) for Financial Advisors and Wealth Managers.
Since 2015, ARK Invest has been involved in cryptocurrency equities and security investments. Through ARK Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), investment advisors have provided investors with exposure to cryptocurrency investments.
Eaglebrook offers Individually Managed Accounts (SMAs) to allow wealth managers and advisors direct access to digital assets on behalf of their clients.
ARK CEO Cathie Wood said the partnership with Eaglebrook will introduce a new asset class to the wealth management industry.
She added:
“This strategy is a personalized investment portfolio designed to meet the needs of financial advisors, wealth managers, and their clients by offering, among other benefits, direct ownership, low minimums, and portfolio reporting integration. It will become a managed account (SMA).”
ARK Crypto Strategy Coming to Wealth Manager
The ARK crypto strategy is designed to leverage blockchain’s promise to revolutionize money, finance and the internet.
The ARK cryptocurrency strategy is a high-conviction portfolio that primarily invests in Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). This strategy aims to capitalize on the currency revolution as the two major assets are expected to be uncorrelated with other asset classes and traditional systems in the long run.
The ARK Crypto Asset Strategy, on the other hand, only invests in the top 10-20 coins that ARK has identified as having the potential to drive the financial and internet revolution. Assets are selected across smart contract networks, decentralized finance, web3, and infrastructure and scaling solutions.
The global cryptocurrency market, which peaked in November 2021, is down more than $2 trillion, but Yassine Elmandjra, crypto analyst at ARK Invest, believes investors are leveraging ARK’s crypto strategy. We believe this is the right time to enter the market.
