Axelar Virtual Machine brings 1-click inter-chain dApp deployment via AI-powered zk-proofs

Speaking at the InterOp Summit at ETHDenver, Axelar founder Sergey Gorbunov announced the Axelar Virtual Machine, which uses zk-proofs and artificial intelligence to power the growth of the web3 ecosystem.

Additionally, Gorbunov also announced “Interchain Maestro,” an Axelar product that enables developers to “build once, run anywhere” to connect any dApp.

Axelar virtual machines have a set of contract templates on the Axelar network to allow upgrade paths, management commands, and governance logic without worrying about cross-chain logic. Gorbunov calls the new product “Kubernetes for web3.” Kubernetes is an open-source container orchestration platform that automates the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.

The goal of the new virtual machine is to allow developers to focus on their app’s logic and optimization, rather than focusing on ensuring that dApps are fully configurable across multiple chains. Axelar already offers sophisticated core network and interchain messaging solutions, but the addition of virtual machines and one-click deployment brings a new level of interchain interoperability to web3. increase.

In his talk, Gorbunov will show an example where a developer who has deployed a contract on the Avalanche chain can deploy it to any number of other chains in a single transaction via the upcoming Axelar Service Portal frontend. Did.

Axelar also extends its network to Stellar, Base, StarkNet, and Near. In addition, a $5 million grant program will also be available for the protocol to expand its interchain capabilities.
