The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 is a slim 14-inch laptop perfect for gaming on the go. This 3.5-pound, 0.7-inch-thick system sports a Ryzen 7 5800HS processor under the hood, with 8 cores and 16 threads running at up to 4.4 GHz during intense work.

The CPU pushes an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU to drive an LED-lit 144Hz 1080p display. By default, the laptop comes with 16 GB of DDR4-3200 memory and a 512 GB PCIe 3.0 SSD. The laptop also comes with a customizable LED panel that adorns the top of the lid. You can see this in action in our Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 review, but it’s worth noting that the model we tested came with a different CPU and GPU than this deal.

Razer’s AMD-based gaming laptop, the Blade 14, has a good sale at Best Buy, with configurations featuring the RTX 3070 Ti on sale. Only $1,799has been reduced from $2,599. The model in question has a Ryzen 9 6900HX CPU, 16GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, and a 2560 x 1440, 165Hz display.

For 2021, we reviewed a nearly identical Razer Blade 14, but it used the latest generation Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU instead of the current Ryzen 9 6900HX. However, given that GPUs are the true powerhouse of gaming performance, his one-generation difference in CPUs should have a small but positive impact on the results.

I liked the thinness and lightness of the laptop, and the 1440p display was crisp and colorful. You can also charge via USB Type-C, but gaming requires a proprietary connector.

In our tests, the Razer Blade 14 was a gaming beast, achieving a blazing 93 fps at 1080p resolution and very high settings in Grand Theft Auto V. This beat out most of its competitors, with the exception of those with more powerful RTX 3080 or RX 6800M graphics.

This laptop weighs just 3.92 pounds, which is very light for a gaming laptop, especially with RTX 3070 Ti graphics. Our review unit’s display is also pretty bright, offering 332 nits of brightness and 79% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

A smaller version of our favorite gaming laptop, the GE76 Raider, the MSI GE66 Raider is available at Newegg. You’ll have to add it to your cart to see the price, but we’ll let you know here. $2,499, $200 off the regular price.

Newegg’s selling configuration combines an 11th Gen Intel Core i9-11980HK with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 GPU, providing plenty of power for high-performance gameplay. It also has 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage.

Specifically, the listing says it runs Windows 10 right out of the box. This may be great for purists, but you should be able to upgrade to Windows 1 just fine.

The 15.6-inch touchscreen doesn’t have a resolution listed, so it’s assumed to be 1080p (specified in another 4K option), which goes up to 165 Hz.
