Cardano’s Hoskinson says SEC actions debunk Ripple lawsuit conspiracy theory

Cardano (ADA) founder Charles Hoskinson says the recent move against cryptocurrencies by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has vindicated conspiracy theories being circulated regarding the legal battle between regulators and Ripple. I’m thinking of stealing

May 8th TweetHoskinson pointed out that the theory spread by XRP holders that the SEC is going against XRP for Ethereum insider bribery is a “conspiracy,” and that recent regulatory action against the crypto industry has made this a “conspiracy.” He added that it was evidence of an “accurate” assessment.

“I said that the idea that the entire SEC is united against bribery rippling from Ethereum insiders is a conspiracy. Coinbase, Kraken, Bittrex, Tron and dozens of others are currently under attack. It seems more accurate than ever, given that

While the SEC v. Ripple lawsuit is still ongoing, SEC Chairman Gary Gensler has highlighted the crypto firm’s breach, describing all digital assets except Bitcoin (BTC) as securities.

XRP Supporters Claim Ethereum Got A Free Pass From The SEC

XRP supporters have consistently argued that former SEC Chief William Hinman’s speech on Ethereum (ETH) is evidence of the Commission’s support.

According to them, the speech helped ETH gain wide acceptance and increase its value. However, other cryptocurrencies, including XRP, have suffered from a lack of regulatory clarity.

Hoover, an individual who supports XRP, said it was ridiculous to think of Hinman’s speech as pure coincidence.he Added:

“Anyone who claims this scandal is nothing more than a ridiculous conspiracy must believe that Hinman’s policies and Clayton’s support were mere coincidences.”

On the other hand, the SEC claims that Hinman’s speech was a personal opinion and was rejected outright by the XRP community, who claimed that Ethereum insiders paid him.

Hoskinson is a constant critic of this view, saying Ripple should argue on merit rather than accusing regulators of favoritism.

Founder of Cardano, December 2022 explained The XRP community is toxic and petty, he said, “I’ve never encountered a community willing to viciously attack someone who wasn’t attacking them.”

Cardano’s Hoskinson says the SEC action has proven that the Ripple lawsuit conspiracy theory first appeared on CryptoSlate.
