Corsair’s New DDR5 RAM Can Be Customized by 3D Printing
If you want your custom PC build to truly look like a work of art, you need your RAM to shine. Over the past few years we’ve seen a lot of RGB RAM, and we’ve seen LCD screens that can sit on top of RAM. However, Corsair takes the aesthetics of RAM to another level with the new Dominator Titanium DIMMs, allowing you to customize the look with your own 3D-printed materials.
I had a chance to see the Dominator Titanium RAM in Corsair’s Computex 2023 demo suite and was impressed with the level of customization it offered. The top bar is removable and can be replaced with one you print yourself or one sold by Corsair.
The 11 ARGB lights will glow no matter what bar you place them on, as long as they’re not completely opaque. Lights can be controlled through Corsair’s iCUE software.
The image at the top of this article shows two different and unique top bars that Corsair had on display. Below is how it looks with the default top and top off.
Dominator Titanium RAM comes in capacities up to 192GB (4 x 48GB) with CAS latency as low as 30 on select units. It boasts a maximum speed of 8,000 MT/S.
Corsair will be selling a limited edition of 500 first edition Dominator Titanium kits and regular edition kits. The RAM will be available in July, but the price has not yet been revealed.
