Could I Forgive Him One Last Time?

Her husband filed for divorce when Victoria Rosner was seven months pregnant. “He said he couldn’t possibly marry anyone, not me,” Victoria wrote in an essay in Modern Love.

Years later, when they lived miles apart, he reached out to her. He had been diagnosed with cancer that had metastasized to his bones and wanted to spend his remaining time with his young son Judas.

Victoria had to make a complicated choice: forgive her ex and allow him into Judas’ life, or close the door on Judas’ relationship with his father, perhaps forever.

In the season finale, we hear Victoria talk about forgiveness. Host Anna Martin then contacts Judas, now 16. Judah reflects on what she remembers about her father and the impact of the decisions her mother made years ago.
