Users can use a standard Raspberry Pi model with this kit, given how difficult it is to get a new Raspberry Pi today. This includes models such as the Raspberry Pi 4 B or earlier Raspberry Pi 3B. Raspberry Pi Zero or compute module compatibility should be possible with some adapters and breakout connections. The exact specs have yet to be confirmed, but we assume that the GPIO pins will be easily accessible via the detachable keyboard, and the SB components will ensure the kit works with the HAT.
According to SB Components, the kit comes with a high-resolution 7-inch touchscreen LCD panel. The exact resolution isn’t specified, but I’m guessing the lowest possible resolution for the panel is likely in the 1280 x 800 range based on its size. 1920 x 1200 is perfectly possible for a screen of this size, as demonstrated by Google’s Nexus 7 2013.
