Ethereum developers, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson get into a Twitter feud

Cardano (ADA) founder Charles Hoskinson got into a row after accusing Ethereum (ETH) developers of ignoring Ouroboros.

Ouroboros is safety The Proof of Stake protocol and the first blockchain protocol based on peer-reviewed research running on the Cardano blockchain.

According to him, Ethereum developers have been ignoring Ouroboros for the past five years, and Ethereum’s core community hates Cardano.

He explained that the Ethereum developers view the Cardano community as “a cult that is evil and anti-social but is watched over by incompetent pathological liar founders.”

in him lookadds that Ethereum developers are stuck with technology from 2014 and need to grow and move on.

Hoskinson continued that the result will hurt the industry as it will make recruitment and collaboration more difficult. He added that users are the losers of this hostility because they are forced to make design decisions that hurt them.

Hoskinson said:

“Cardano does not need a cryptocurrency to be successful. It has not yet seen mass adoption and can grow to billions of users without stealing a single person from Bitcoin or Ethereum.”

Ethereum developers take on Hoskinson

Ethereum developer Hudson Jameson has refuted claims of animosity between the two communities, saying that Hoskinson harshly criticized Ethereum in building Cardano.

Jameson continued that Ethereum developers don’t want to see Cardano because of Hoskinson’s attitude and actions. He said:

“True leaders are usually more resourceful when dealing with competitors.”

The developer also said that Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin previously reviewed Ouroboros.Hoskinson explained Reviews of Buterin are “lackluster”.

Hoskinson defended He said his actions were not representative of the more than 150 papers from Cardano and the network.

Hoskinson says PoS brand is ‘dirty’ because of Ethereum

Cardano founders have argued that Ethereum’s move to Proof of Stake would taint other blockchain networks running on consensus mechanisms.

Hoskinson said the release of locked-up staked coins would lead to “another cascading drop due to a sudden surge in liquidity.”

In his view, Ethereum developers should have implemented the Snow White protocol to ensure a faster transition to PoS.

of snow white The PoS Consensus is “the first formal end-to-end proof of a Proof-of-Stake system in a truly decentralized, open and participatory network.” Co-authored by Professor Elaine Shi of Cornell University.

Hoskinson has previously criticized ETH’s PoS implementation because it requires users to lock their funds indefinitely.
