These are ridiculously low core counts for graphics processing units, even by unified graphics standards. As seen in the integrated graphics test chart above, the Ryzen 7000 GPUs are barely usable in modern video games, offering roughly half the performance of Intel’s 11th Gen Rocket Lake 32 EU GPUs.
To get playable performance, you have to play a game made five years ago when GTAV was a brand new title. Still, to barely break 30 fps, you have to drop to 720p and the lowest quality setting.
But those GPUs weren’t meant for playing games. AMD includes a new integrated GPU for casual users who only need basic display capabilities. Even gamers may find an iGPU useful for troubleshooting or powering a secondary display. We expect AMD to also feature higher performing I/O chiplets that will most likely be used in their Ryzen 7000 series laptops.
A major highlight of Adrenalin 22.9.2 is the addition of support for Ryzen 7000 series integrated graphics.The only other item in the patch notes is game-ready support grounda first-person survival adventure game currently in early access vapor.
