Retailers around the world have started listing custom Ada graphics card models from chip maker AIB partners as Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4080 graphics cards hit the retail market on November 16th. Although not as fast as the GeForce RTX 4090, the GeForce RTX 4080 is still one of his best graphics cards.
Initially available in both 16GB and 12GB variants, after much criticism and user backlash, Nvidia decided to ‘discontinue’ the GeForce RTX 4080 12GB. Nvidia must have been under a lot of pressure to cancel the graphics card launch. However, there is no need to grieve the GeForce RTX 4080 12GB as the vendor will likely recycle it into his GeForce RTX 4070 tier SKU. The GeForce RTX 4080 GameRock OC, also made by Palit, will retail for £1,529.97, which is 21% more than the suggested retail price.
