Helium caught in a web of falsehoods about its partnerships

There have been reports that helium (HNT) has misleaded the public about the partnership. The company reports that it advertises on its website, so there is no collaboration with Lime or Salesforce.

No lime partnership

a Mashable The report revealed that Lime does not have a partnership with helium.

The transportation company has denied its partnership with Helium since 2019, claiming that it has only been initially tested by a blockchain tech company.

Russell Murphy, Senior Director of Corporate Communications, Lime, said:

“Beyond the initial testing of the 2019 product, Lime had no relationship with helium, and currently does not.”

Murphy added that part of the terms of the trial was that helium would not use the name in promotional materials. Helium violated that condition and said it was “trusted” by Lime.

Lime knew about these misrepresentations, but the company was unable to take legal action. However, Lime will soon send a cease and desist letter to the crypto company.

Salesforce refuses partnership

Salesforce, another company that claims that helium has a partnership Rejected Existence of relationship.

The Salesforce and Lime logos will appear on the Helium website as part of the company using the company’s technology.

Salesforce spokesman Ashley Eliasoph denied this. Eliasov said:

“Helium is not a Salesforce partner,” he considered the website graphic showing the Salesforce logo to be inaccurate.

Meanwhile, Helium has removed both the Salesforce and Lime logos from its website. We also did not respond to media inquiries regarding this matter.

Cryptographic community reaction

These new revelations on crypto projects came when the company faced increasing scrutiny from stakeholders in the crypto community about its revenue.

In a recent Twitter thread, angel investor Liron Shapira described helium as a failed project and that despite spending millions of dollars, the company made little money.

Members of the project’s Reddit community added that developers had to be booked because the partnership was used to attract unsuspecting investors.
