How Much Watching Time Do You Have This Weekend?

‘bear’
When to see: now Hulu FX..

One of the most dissonant shows on television, “The Bear” is a gentle story of passion, conflict and determination. Jeremy Allen White starred as the poor and greasy Carmy, the famous chef who took over his family’s Italian beef sandwich shop in Chicago, the death of his brother. Everything is confusing: the kitchen is dirty, debt is rising, and the staff’s default communication mode is angry.

But that means there is room for growth. As a green yet brilliant young chef, Ayo Edevili offers one of the best performances of the year. Even if the show hits a traditional beat, that’s not something you can expect. The music director is breathtakingly literal and some of the accent pieces are ranked, but I sat down and devoured all eight episodes.

‘Queen’
When to see: now Netflix..

This four-part Polish series (Polish and French, subtitled or dubbed) is worth looking at just for the outfit and production design, but fortunately, it’s as straightforward as a gorgeous luxury wrapping paper. A shop that is also a sophisticated and wonderful story. Andrzej Seweryn starred as a tailor in Paris during the day and as a drag queen Sylwester at night. When he receives a letter from his granddaughter who did not know about the sick daughter he had abandoned, he returns to Poland to get things right.

The “Queen” has a vibrant visual style with vibrant suits and vibrant primary colors, yet it’s like real life, as if the cobalt blue bathroom was really the choice the character would choose. I feel it. If you want something that is inspirational but happy, take a look at this.

“Split”
When to see: Well, at Sundance Now.

The third and final season of “The Split” begins months after Season 2 ends. Hannah and Nathan (Nikola Walker and Stephen Mangan, right) are preparing to sign a divorce notice, but given that they and most of the characters in the show are divorce lawyers, it’s easy to cross Ts. Not. Many dramas, especially British dramas, feel friction because the characters can’t say what they want. Decisiveness is far more important than ambiguity this season of “split”. Characters often enjoy the opportunity to air the harsh truth if they know what they are.

If you miss a “good wife” or need a drama of wealthy people who lean on soap but maintain emotional integrity, watch this.
