Let’s finish with something more creative. With AI, you can create customized bedtime stories or even your own hard copy children’s books.
Give chatbots like ChatGPT and Bard detailed prompts that include your child’s preferred storytelling style, the details they want to include, the situations they want to cover in the story, and more. This is a prompt I wrote for an imaginary child who is unhappy about moving to a new house. I asked it to feature some familiar characters.
Imitate “Frog and Toad” and play a children’s book writer. My child is going through a tough time. I am moving to a new house and plan to transfer schools. Write the story so he can handle it. We will incorporate our dogs, Corgi Max and Mochi, as characters.
The chatbot generated a heartwarming story about furry brothers Max and Mochi. They enjoyed playing in the park, but were sad about moving to a new home. However, they supported each other and eventually attended a new school where they made new friends. They are Bella, an energetic beagle, and Charlie, a cheeky Chihuahua. It all worked out in the end.
