HP’s Best Laptop Is $400 Off for Cyber Monday

Our favorite 2-in-1 convertible and one of the best ultrabooks overall, the HP Specter 13.5 is selling strongly on Cyber Monday.and HP website (opens in new tab), the laptop is $400 off in any configuration, but it’s a flash sale, so you need to act quickly. It is set to end at 4:00 PM ET / 1:00 PM PT.

This $400 discount applies to all configurations you can create with HP’s configurator. Whether it’s the starter model with a Core i5-1235U and 8GB of RAM ($849.99), the model we reviewed ($1,259.99 with an Intel Core i7-1255U, RAM, 1TB SSD and OLED screen) or something in between or something in between. and more.

We liked the Specter as a versatile device for those who need not only a standard clamshell, but also the possibility of using their laptop as a tablet. Perfect for those who need traditional USB Type-A ports for existing peripherals and Thunderbolt 4 for new accessories. It also has a solid webcam and decent speakers.

Personally, I like designs that give off a sense of luxury. And we’re happy to upgrade the Specter’s storage, where other flagships have pursued thinness, to the point where it’s no longer possible.

We tested the Specter and got a solid 10 hours of battery life. That was the case with OLED screens. If you get a 1920 x 1280 IPS display, it might last even longer.

What won’t last long is this deal with a timer running out on HP’s site. I highly recommend this if you want the flexibility of a 2-in-1 and want to try a convertible.
