InWin’s POC PC Case Ships Flat, Needs to be Built

InWin’s latest PC cases are designed like origami.company announced a new The POC case (it’s not clear at the time of publication if this is an acronym for anything) claims late last week to promote “development of dexterity skills on and off the PC.”

The case measures 17.6 x 16.4 x 1.78 inches (449 x 418 x 45 mm) and fits a 346 mm long GPU. It has one 2.5-inch internal drive bay and three PCIe expansion slots (or fits a 3.5-slot GPU). The GPU is in a dedicated chamber that draws heat away from the rest of the system.

InWin isn’t new to flatpack PC cases. Teenage Engineering will announce Computer-1 in 2021. This looks a lot like his POC case, but it initially shipped in bright orange. It’s also much more expensive at $195 ($249 for silver anodized aluminum). In that case, you’ll need an SFF power supply, but InWin says the POC will also work with standard ATX PSUs up to 160mm long.

The company has placed its POC under the “iBuildiShare” banner, which it believes will lead to a “much richer PC building experience.” Other cases in this lineup include InWin’s Case Monster, Airforce and Explorer designs.
