Jedi Survivor Receives First Patch Addressing Performance Issues

As promised, the team behind Jedi: Survivor has released new patch For the game, it addresses some bugs and performance issues related to the PC version. These issues include performance issues in non-ray-traced graphics modes, game crashes, bugs related to VFTX, AI, cinematics, and more. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles will get these same fixes tomorrow.

To get a sense of the general situation, Jedi: Survivor became one of the most controversial game launches in recent memory within days of its launch due to the game’s anomalous performance issues on PC hardware. In fact, Digital Foundry is calling out: Jedi: Survivor As Worst Triple A Port of 2023 So Far. Issues surrounding the game include severe framerate drops, general framerate drops, insane VRAM utilization, and near-constant micro-stuttering when navigating the game world. And it doesn’t even mention game-breaking bugs.
