LattePanda Announces Sigma, a ‘Hackable Single Board Server’

Latte Panda Sigmastarted today by latte panda team Starting at $579, it boosts the power of the LattePanda 3 Delta with a Raptor Lake-based CPU, 16GB of LPDDR5, and an Intel Iris Xe GPU. All of this makes it a much more powerful machine than the LattePanda 3 Delta or the Raspberry Pi 4.

The LattePanda 3 Delta is already an impressive board, much more powerful than the Raspberry Pi 4. But Sigma’s specs blow the Delta solid out of the water.

The selection of the 13th Gen Intel Raptor Lake Core i5-1340P (12 cores, 16 threads) is a significant upgrade from the quad-core Intel Celeron N5105 found in the LattePanda 3 Delta. The GPU also saw an upgrade, now featuring an Intel Iris Xe GPU with 80 execution units and up to 1.45 GHZ, compared to Delta’s rather mediocre Intel UHD GPU running at 450-800 MHz.

Sigma’s RAM upgrades are also welcome. The 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM provided by Delta was more than enough for most tasks, but the 16GB of LPDDR5 running at 6400 MHz was a big performance boost for all projects.
