Minisforum Announce Slim PCs With Intel 11th Gen CPUs and Nvidia RTX GPUs

Minisforum, a Mini PC specialist, has launched two new ultra-thin Intel PCs. Both the new Minisforum NUCX15 and NUCX17 mini PCs share a slim form factor. Minisforum seems to be based on Intel’s 11th generation NUC laptop kit. It’s basically a screenless gaming laptop.

We have reported on a NUC laptop kit that assumes these systems are based on September 2021. A mix of Tiger Lake HCPU and Nvidia Ampere graphics. Earlier this month, Intel updated its NUC laptop kit with 12th generation CPU models and switched to Intel Arc mobile graphics.

In the images shared by Minisforum, the default orientation of the new NUCXI 5 and NUCXI 7 slim PCs appears to be vertical. It looks a little erratic like this, but if you lay it flat, your previous desk space will be exhausted. Minisforum provides a stand wide enough to prevent these PCs from being easily knocked down

This design is suitable for both desktop and living room. In vertical mode, it easily slides to the side of the monitor and occupies very little workspace. In the living room, there is no discomfort under the TV and it functions as a home entertainment or PC game console. With the RTX 3060 / RTX 3070 and 11th generation Intel CPUs, you can get enough power for 1080P-based games.
