Moonsama partners with KILT protocol for SocialKYC integration

Polkadot-based NFT project Moon sama Announced that SocialKYC will be integrated into the Multiverse Bridge, allowing users to sign in using a wallet instead of a username and password.

Moonsama has integrated this functionality through a partnership with the KILT protocol using Sporran Wallet and Social KYC credentials.

This new feature allows users to log in to their Moonsama account using their Social KYC credentials. Eliminate the risk that your personal data will be compromised in the event of a breach.

According to the announcement, the distributed login method will have a revolutionary impact on the metaverse space.

In the future, this method may allow users to link their social profile directly to the Metaverse from platforms such as Twitter and Telegram.

There was talk of the role of digital identity in the Metaverse, but this is one of the first real implementations.

SocialKYC does not store, store or share your personal information once you log in. According to the press statement, “When a credential is issued, we forget the user and that credential.”

Moonsama also offers special equipable NFT skins that can be worn in the Metaverse for those who logged in with KILT prior to August 1st.

Moonsama introduces AssetDID

The announcement also included future plans for the project, such as AssetDID, a new type of identifier that can be used in multiple asset classes for substitutable and non-substitutable assets such as NFT.

It is expected to help improve security and solve digital asset ownership and authenticity issues.

Moonsama is a major NFT project on Polkadot and Kusama ecosystems. Launched in September 2021 by the Moonriver community, it has significantly increased market capitalization and is one of the largest communities.

With an agile approach to development, the project has already implemented multi-chain NFT technology, and its metaverse has Dotsama’s largest on-chain player. We are also working on other Metaverse projects.

The KILT protocol is a fully decentralized blockchain ID protocol that acts as a parachain in Kusama. This allows users to issue self-sovereignty, anonymous, and verifiable credentials, and there are five applications with even more integration.
