Most Americans Say Life is Starting to Return to Pre-Covid Normal, a Poll Shows
According to recent studies, most Americans say their lives are at least approaching pre-pandemic normality.
Twelve percent of adults think their lives are the same as they were before the pandemic, while 54% think their lives are a little the same. According to pollsPublished Tuesday by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Relations and Research and the SCAN Foundation.
A small number of 34% believe their lives are not the same.
The poll was conducted in mid-May, when hospitalizations are increasing nationwide as it is today.
According to a survey, a majority of 51% of Americans believe that Covid-19 vaccination is essential, and 39% need to be vaccinated before almost everyone returns to their original state. I think there is.
Fifty percent of Americans believe that the availability of effective treatments for Covid-19 is essential for participating in public life.
Only 22% believe that wearing a mask in a public indoor location is essential for returning to pre-epidemic life, and 20% believe that regular inspections are essential.
The study also found that black and Hispanic adults were more likely to value indoor masking and regular examinations than white adults.
78% of black respondents said that most people wearing face masks in public indoor areas return to normal life, while 62% of Hispanics and 44% of white respondents. Agreed.
When asked if most people should be examined on a regular basis, 71 percent of blacks answered yes, compared to 58 percent of Hispanics and 42 percent of whites.
In the survey, 87% of respondents said they would interact with friends and family. 79% planned to go to bars and restaurants, visit with older relatives, travel and participate in direct religious services. 65% said they were ready to work out in the gym or studio. And 50 percent will use public transport.
