MSI RTX 4070 Gaming X Trio and Ventus 3X OC Pose for Photos
What appears to be an official render of the GeForce RTX 4070 (non-Ti) from MSI has leaked. Specifically, VideoCardz unearthed, Exposure Image of GPU labeled as MSI RTX 4070 Gaming X Trio and Ventus 3X OC. Crisp cutout images reveal different angles of these upcoming triple-fan desktop graphics cards and their packaging.
Those familiar with MSI’s recent desktop graphics cards will know that the Gaming X line offers a better cooling design than the Ventus line. However, product photography (if real) reveals an even more surprising level of differentiation. The Gaming X Trio model we see has one of the infamous 16-pin power connectors, while the Ventus 3X OC model has an old-style 8-pin Molex connector for auxiliary power.
A similar power connector policy was also observed in the recent Gigabyte RTX 4070 leak. This difference ties in with rumors suggesting more premium SKUs will be set at 225W, while cheaper models (which will likely match the $599 MSRP) will run within 200W. The 16-pin power connector is likely to become even less once lower-tier Nvidia Ada Lovelace cards such as the RTX 4060/Ti are released.
A previous EEC filing suggested that MSI’s RTX 4070 lineup would include the following models, and it looks like there are two twin-fan SKUs in the pack, as well as two models that are pictured for the first time today. is.

Importantly, the GeForce RTX 4070 is expected to share the same 12GB memory subsystem as its Ti siblings. Therefore, it could possibly join the ranks of the best graphics cards. In the RTX 40 generation, all desktop graphics cards below this model could have 8GB of VRAM or less and a memory bus of 128 bits or less. I have. Both the RTX 2060 and RTX 3060 graphics cards come with 12GB of VRAM, and this would be a huge step back for his GeForce series, as the days of 8GB of VRAM being well-utilized in modern game releases are long gone. increase.
Nvidia and partners should officially launch the RTX 4070 desktop graphics card on Thursday, April 13th.
