Noctua Shuffles Roadmap, Adds NH-L9a CPU Cooler for AMD AM5

Noctua has updated its public roadmap for upcoming products.of his PC cooling company in Austria October update Moving to the roadmap is important as we introduce several new products and move a large number of cooling accessories into the future. However, we have to consider ourselves lucky as the often-delayed next-generation NH-D15 CPU cooler is set to launch in his Q1 2023.

The starting point of our roadmap, which will be launched in Q4 2022, is the NA-TPG1 thermal paste guard we talked about yesterday. This his AM5 chip and socket protection accessory will ship in December. At the same time, his AM5 editions of NH-H1 and NH-H2 thermal paste are in his 3.5g tubes. These are just existing pastes bundled with AM5 CPU thermal paste guards. The final item in his Q4 2022 slot on the new roadmap is the next-gen 140mm fan. I’m happy to see that this is “on schedule” when looking at our previous roadmap (April).

Noctua’s updated roadmap for Q1 2023 includes a new NH-L9a CPU cooler for AMD AM5. If you remember the news about his Noctua CPU cooling compatibility for AM4 and AM5 sockets, the single nasty cooler that the new mounting kit couldn’t fix was his NH-L9a-AM4 low profile cooler may remind you of The new NH-L9a CPU cooler for AMD AM5 is the answer for those who want this kind of low-profile cooling solution on the latest AMD platforms.

Also worth mentioning in regards to Q1 2023, the fan grill that should already be there is due by this date. The same goes for the 24V to 12V voltage converter and the 8-way fan hub. Last but not least, the often-delayed next-generation NH-D15 CPU cooler (originally he was slated for a 2021 release) is still scheduled to launch in Q1 2023.

Noctua’s slim 60mm and 24V 40mm fans have been moved to the Q2 2023 launch window, originally scheduled for the current quarter. So it may take 6-8 months from launch. Other products delayed by about six months include the Noctua Desk Fan and White Fans. This is currently scheduled for Q3 2023. That means Desk Fan will probably overshoot another summer in the northern hemisphere.
